Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Common Questions About Rates & Insurance

What insurance do you accept?

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, United/Optum, Aetna, Humana, and TriWest VA Community Care Network. We are proud to serve veterans through the VA Community Care Network. If you're unsure whether your plan is covered, contact us and we'll verify your benefits.

What if my insurance isn't listed?

If you have a different insurance provider, you can still see our therapists as a self-pay client. We can provide a super bill (detailed receipt) that you submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Many clients recover a significant portion of their costs this way.

Are EMDR intensives covered by insurance?

No, EMDR intensives are a self-pay program and are not covered by insurance. Half-day intensives start at $600, full-day at $1,000, and multi-day packages offer reduced rates. A 50% deposit is due at scheduling. Visit our Intensives page for more details about the program.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

Under federal law, healthcare providers must give patients who don't have insurance (or aren't using insurance) an estimate of expected costs before services are provided. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it. Learn more at cms.gov/nosurprises.
